Getting started

  1. Create a document — Diagrapho opens with a fresh canvas. Drag shapes in from the left sidebar, or pick a starter from File ▸ New from Template.
  2. Connect things — drag between shapes to draw connectors; layout and routing update automatically as you build.
  3. Or just describe it — open the AI agent panel (the ✦ wand button in the toolbar), type what you want, and press Run.

Setting up the AI agent

  1. Open Diagrapho ▸ Settings ▸ AI.
  2. Choose Anthropic or OpenAI and paste your API key (it’s stored securely in the macOS Keychain).
  3. Optionally set a specific model, or leave it on the default.
  4. Open the agent panel from the toolbar and describe your diagram.

You can get an API key from console.anthropic.com or platform.openai.com. The agent is optional — every other feature works without a key.

Restoring your purchase

Diagrapho purchases are tied to your Apple ID — there are no license keys to lose. To reinstall on any Mac:

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Sign in with the same Apple ID you purchased with.
  3. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open your purchases.
  4. Find Diagrapho and click the download icon.

If you can’t access the Apple ID you bought with, purchases can only be recovered through Apple Support — we have no ability to look up or transfer App Store purchases.

Importing & exporting

Import: Mermaid, PlantUML, draw.io, Lucidchart, Visio (.vsdx), CSV. Export: PNG, JPEG, PDF, SVG, interactive HTML — plus copy-as-image straight to the clipboard.
